Metrophonic Resistance stands for Hard Trance like no other German label, which is not surprising considering that Accuface, Hard Trance pioneer of the first hour, leads the label. With K.Blank another outstandingly talented Hard Trance artist joins the label family with his debut release “Journey to the Past”, which contains two strong oldschool Hard Trance tracks. This rave EP is the first milestone to a Trance and Hard Trance album by K.Blank, with which he wants to take a journey through time of the Trance genre from the mid-1990s until today. K.Blank. Since 2007 he is on the road as a producer in the Trance and Hard Trance genre. Highlights of this career were several releases on the legendary label Bonzai Records and the collaboration with DJ Dean, which was also played by well-known DJs like Paul van Dyk. Already in 2015 K.Blank set a monument to the oldschool Hard Trance Sound with the song “1996”, whose sound and atmosphere captured him so much that he wanted to produce more of it. So he sat down on two more songs in this style. With the songs “1994” and “1995” K.Blank also revived a very turbulent period of his life. In 1994 Ayrton Senna died and Michael Schuhmacher became world champion for the first time, which was very emotional for K.Blank as a very passionate Formula 1 fan. In 1995 K.Blank had to fight death himself, because he almost died from an infection in his stomach - hence the subtitle to 1995: “This is a Miracle”. The sound, especially for the “1995”, was inspired by videos from the Love Parade, which influenced the culture, atmosphere and style of electronic dance music like no other event back then. K.Blank and Metrophonic Resistance are already preparing further releases, so that the “Rave EP” will only be the beginning of further K.Blank releases. K.Blank “Journey to the Past (The Rave EP)” is now available in all download shops and streaming services via the label Metrophonic Resistance!
