Excision[/b] is the alias of Jeff Abel, a dubstep DJ and producer from British Columbia, Canada. He frequently works with fellow Canadian dubstep producers Datsik and Downlink. His first release was in 2007.

Excision's signature sound takes influence from the morphing basslines of drum and bass, the aggressive energy of heavy metal, and the laid back vibes of hip hop.
Upon the selling out and repressing of his 2007 release, “No Escape” on his own label Rottun Recordings, it became apparent that there was a large demand for the aggressive side of dubstep. This was proven to be true when Excision was asked by Pendulum to remix their 2009 single “Showdown.”
The sounds that Excision creates in his songs have become an ongoing topic of discussion within the dubstep community[citation needed]. There has been much debate over how these sounds are created, but Excision is known to use Steinberg Cubase, Apple Logic, Native Instruments Massive, Linplug Albino 3, and Access Virus TI.
His recordings from the fabled Shambhala Music Festival in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 have received over a million downloads available for free.
During the year 2011, Excision toured with Downlink and Antiserum throughout the United States of America on the "Subsonic Tour".
In early 2012 he embarked on a similar but larger scale journey throughout North America on the "X Tour" with Liquid Stranger & Lucky Date, with his partner Mairon Marain.
He also is known to tour along side "Ira BW Graham", a well known rapper from a small town in the South Central area of Ohio.

NOISIA (who took their name from the word VISION inverted on an upside down VHS tape) are Nik Roos, Thijs de Vlieger and Martijn van Sonderen, hailing from Groningen, The Netherlands. Influenced by an eclectic range of artists, from The Prodigy to James Brown, Miles Davis to Konflict, Tipper to Fatboy Slim, Noisia make music for DJs and dance-floors that is interesting enough to cross over from the clubs to your MP3 player.

Releasing their first record in 2003 on SLR and releasing on every major drum&bass label in the following years, 2005 saw Noisia establish their own label, Vision Recordings to put out their drum&bass productions and collaborations and retain creative control of their music. Nik designs almost all of the artwork for the releases on their labels, and the guys love the challenges and rewards that come with running a label. In 2007 they established Division Recordings, a label for electro, house, breaks and dubstep. They then went on to establish Invisible Recordings in 2010, catering for the deeper and more experimental side of drum&bass.

Over the past few years, accolades for Noisia have included Best Tech DJ in the UK National D&B Awards in 2009 and 2010, Best Producers at the 2010 D&BArena Awards and Best Drum&Bass Artist on Beatport in both 2009 and 2010.

The guys have worked with, and remixed a number of diverse artists, with notable tracks including, ‘Alice’ by Moby, ‘Omen’ by The Prodigy, ‘E.T.’ by Katy Perry, ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ by Skrillex, ‘Raise your Weapon’ by Deadmau5, and Hadouken, whose entire second album ‘For The Masses’ was produced by Noisia. They have collaborated on a number of tracks with Foreign Beggars, the most successful being ‘Contact’, which has garnered over 3 million views on YouTube and become an influential underground hit. Another Noisia video that has been a big hit on YouTube is ‘Exodus’ which took 3 years to make and features KRS One.

Noisia have been Dj’ing every weekend since 2004. They have played in major cities all over the world, from Sydney to Moscow, Tokyo to Berlin, Los Angeles to Johannesburg and have DJ’ed in some of the world’s biggest clubs. They have reduced their DJ’ing commitments recently in order to focus on production.

Noisia’s music lends itself perfectly to videogames; their track ‘Groundhog’ is the hardest track to beat in the first DJ Hero, ‘Machine Gun’ and 'Seven Stitches' feature in three editions of the game WipeOut, and ‘Stigma’ and 'Yellow Brick' were picked up by Playstation to be featured on GranTurismo. They were commissioned to make 8 remixes especially for Motorstorm Apocalypse, a triple-A racing game that was released in March 2011.

2011 will see the release of a Special Edition of their successful debut album ‘Split The Atom’. The original was released in April 2010 and showcases a wide variety of styles; from electro to drum&bass to dubstep. Having signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation publishing company, working on new videogame soundtracks and producing for a number of artists, Noisia are expanding into exciting new areas whilst continuing to make the ‘bangers’ they are known and loved for!

By combining sound and force with weight, the Bassnectar experience engulfs the senses. The experience of Bassnectar is more visceral than auditory, as the music sets any stage for an adventure without rules or limitations. On Bassnectar's stage, there is no hesitation in fusing the familiar with the strange or the classic with the
    cutting edge.

Bassnectar is the brainchild of Lorin Ashton, and his open-sourced musical project is as diverse as it is imaginary, as raw as it is meticulous, and as fierce as it is stunning. Spanning the spectrum of sonic style, the music draws inspiration from every genre imaginable and supplies a synthesis of intense, wobbling basslines and hypnotic soundscapes for a devout international audience that desires the beautiful and the bestial in the same breath.

In whatever medium Bassnectar works, music is the lure and social impact is the sincere intention. According to Ashton, “We are so blessed, and so deeply fortunate to be alive and awake right now…it’s a basic truth, but it’s very powerful. I think privilege confers responsibility, and Bassnectar is a reflection of that opportunity to give back; the motion of my cells bouncing back at the world.”

Circus Records is the brainchild of Doctor P, Flux Pavilion, DJ Swan-E and Earl Falconer (of UB40 fame). Started in 2009 as a platform for Flux and Doctor P’s Dubstep productions, the label has grown quickly to become synonymous with top quality bass-driven music.

Circus’s mission is to throw away the conventions of the music industry and do things the way they think things should be done.

The conception of the label began in late 2008 when long-time friends Doctor P and Flux Pavilion discovered a newly emerging sound in the Dubstep scene. After producing a few tracks both guys were approached by a number of labels, but it seemed more logical to them to join forces and start a movement of their own. At the time, Doctor P had recently signed under the name DJ Picto to Swan-E and Earl Falconer’s Drum n Bass label Maximum Boost. So, in the summer of 2009 Flux, P and Swan held a meeting of minds, and Circus was born!

Since then the label has grown steadily and is now also home to Cookie Monsta, FuntCase, Roksonix and Slum Dogz, and the roster is set to continue growing.
