SKYLAB is an exploration of music from every corner of the galaxy and on our journey we may come across brand new talent that has yet to be investigated. That being said, we are happy to announce Cazzette for SKYLAB 2011. So who is Cazzette exactly? Cazzette, made up of 17 and 21-year-old Swedes Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer, have been collaborating for a few months, but have only met in person a handful of times, despite that fact they are already making a splash with their innovative remixes. In May, Cazzette was picked up by Ash Pournouri of At Night Management, the same person who made Avicii famous. In fact, Avicii has been quoted saying he would be lost without Ash. The combination of Pournouri's influence as well as Cazzette's unbelievable talent makes this duo destined for stardom. Cazzette delivers a unique sound that combines elements of European house music and uptempo dubstep, a never-before-seen fusion (think Swedish House Mafia meets Rusko). The result is a highly danceable sound that still has the banging bass drops you crave- enjoyable by house fans, bassheads and everyone in between. Cazzett'e sense of originality and ability to bring solid basslines to house tunes puts a whole new spin on EDM and challenges us to reevaluate the way we think about genres. Just a month after signing with At Night, Cazzette's remix of Avicii's 'Sweet Dreams' made it into the top 10 of the electro charts, peaking at #2.
