Two Hardstyle-producing Dutch brothers
They call themselves “Twins” but despite this name the brothers Arjen and Anco are no twins at all. Yet behind the turntables the two will strike you as being identical, because of their similar taste in music and mutual agreement.
The Alpha² started as residents at the Qlubtempo parties in Zaandam. This was their breakthrough for a large group of people. In these performances they’ve showed that “Alpha²” is synonym to rough hardstyle. They played at the biggest events and festivals such as : Qlimax, Defqon.1, Hard Bass, Q-Base, Mystery Land, and Decibel.
The brothers also travelled to a lot of foreign countries like : Germany, Swiss, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Poland, France, UK, and Estonia.
After several releases on different labels (Q-dance, SYS-X, Mythica and Paint It Black) they decided it was time to start their own record label (April, 2008)
The name for this label wasn’t hard to come up with. Since they have been dj-ing as Alpha² (logo) for many years now they thought the only logical name should be A² Records.
The first release was a Alpha² solo ofcourse and sold many copies. Now after less then one year the 7th release is already scheduled.
With new upcoming hardstyle talent dj’s such as B-Front and Ran-D A² Records is on it’s way to become a highly respected label with it’s own unique sound.
