Young talented Dannic (25), hailing from Breda, The Netherlands, is
formerly known as DJ Funkadelic, which you might already know him from
his productions ‘Get Down Girl’ (ft Hardwell) and ‘Smack’ & ‘Spank’
out on Revealed Recordings.
His first success as a DJ came in
2009 when he won the Dancetour DJ contest. This was his opportunity to
play some of his own sounds which lead him to entering into
a remix contest to test his production skills. By rearranging
Funkerman’s track Automatic, an absolute TUNE came out of the woodwork
securing funkadelic winning the remix contest at an arms length, leaving
rest of the competition. This remix was released on Flamingo
Recordings.
His debut release ‘Get Down Girl’ in 2010 stormed the
charts on both radio and download portals. At this time, Dannic’s funky
uplifting sound got noticed by the big guns in the scene, resulting in
some big remixes for Armand van Helden, Nicky Romero and DJ Chuckie.
It’s clear; Dannic has an ear for combining the best of both worlds.

skills and energetic performances he really knows how to work the crowd
while mixing & mashing things up live. With several residencies in
Holland and a history of big gigs such as Queen Club Paris, Tiësto in
Marrakech & new releases on their way it is hard to deny that Dannic
is about to funk things up!
